Although we can prepare with the above online resources and probably print some parts of it we will definitely need good maps of the region, which show also all the smaller roads. We have only few for this year's route, so we need to either source the rest by you coming and lending to the collective or buying them. Let us know what you have and could bring (meaning that you won't keep it in your pocket everyday but the scouts of a specific day will have it).

Day-by-Day Routes

Here we collect maps/tips for each part of the route - you can help out by looking at it beforehand so we are prepared for the road.

one open source tool that can be used is https://facilmap.org/ which is based on openstreetmap data, look up a route, look at it in detail (does it not lead us on the motorway or up via the mountain) and then post the link with a bit of description here. Of course you can also use other sources, just suggest them here/use them, though we prefer open-source. It can also be a good scan of a map if you have.

Maps

Although we can prepare with the above online resources and probably print some parts of it we will definitely need good maps of the region, which show also all the smaller roads. We have only few for this year's route, so we need to either source the rest by you coming and lending to the collective or buying them. Let us know what you have and could bring (meaning that you won't keep it in your pocket everyday but the scouts of a specific day will have it). Preferable are regional maps (around 1:200.000 - 1:300.000) which show minor roads, ascents and descents, probably even with steepness indications in percent)
