MAPS

Here's a picture map with the "rough route" (as decided on the winter meeting) sketched. It basically display start and end region - the route in between is still quite undefined.

Click here for a dynamic map with proposals for places to visit (last update: 2013-04-12): Here's. The map contains

  • those projects sugested on this wiki page which have a location (as opposed to "nomadic" projects), which are publicly present in physical space or cyber space. Note: The geografic position not exact! In bigger cities or places with multiple projects: Zoom to the maximum and you will see all of them!
  • former borders and border zones (grey, brown)
  • relatively new borders and still (on the international legal level; grey) contested borders (red)
  • historical "multi-ethnical" areas (pink)
  • the old iron curtain (grey)
  • the former berlin wall (=border) line (red), which is a historical cicle/hiking path now
  • schengen zone borders ("fortress EU") (black)
  • other tours taking place in spring/summer 2013
    • Reclaim Power Tour (green)
    • Dunavision Tour (blue)

A map with summer events (and their dates), which we could visit, is coming soon.

We are currently looking to find collaborative Free / Libre / Open Source mapping software so you can add your suggestions to the map: If you have ideas for mapping software add here [1] or email info@ecotopiabiketour.net
